Admission Requirements
If you are at least 18 years of age and have a strong desire to change your lifestyle, then you've met the two basic requirements of being admitted into Cenikor's recovery program. As with any community there are certain guidelines and expectations that must be considered before entering the program. It's important to maintain a safe, healthy, productive environment for all our residents.
Acceptance criteria
We ask that you:

Be physically ready, mentally capable and willing to participate in all aspects of the recovery program, including work therapy.

Bring a medical release from a licensed physician if you have any medical problems that might prevent full participation.

Admit you have a chemical dependency problem and demonstrate a desire to achieve a chemical-free lifestyle.

Notify your parole or probation officer before you meet with us.

Be capable and willing to earn a graduate equivalency diploma (GED) if you don't have a high-school diploma.

Complete detoxification before being admitted to Cenikor. We can refer you to an appropriate facility if you have not undergone detox treatment.

Be willing to follow rules and guidelines of the Cenikor program.

Be able to interact in a positive manner with all races, creeds, nationalities and ages.

Not have a criminal record of the following offenses: repeated violent offenses, sexual offenses, crimes against children and arson.

Not be diagnosed or undergoing treatment for depression or suspected suicidal and/or homicidal tendencies. We will do our best to refer you to agencies that can give you the special help you need.
