About Cenikor

Cenikor is a  long-term, residential Therapeutic Community (TC) that helps people end the cycle of substance abuse. Cenikor gives individuals a way to create an addiction-free future and regain their self worth. Cenikor works for those who are truly serious about changing their lives.

On the Path to Change

The recovery program lasts approximately 18 to 24 months. It is not an easy path and it is not for everyone. But for men and women, 18 years of age and older, who truly want to change, it works. Ninety percent of those who graduate from the program remain clean and sober after one year.

Clients are referred to our program by professional clinicians, former clients, or by the judicial system. Many times, a person comes to Cenikor on their own because of his or her willingness to change. Although family members can call to find out more information about our program, those seeking change must make the call to inquire about admission. 1-888-CENIKOR.

The Cost of Recovery

We charge a one-time non-refundable admission fee of $350.00 for in-state applicants and $1,500.00 for out-of-state applicants, plus the cost of transportation to our facility. Clients receive substance abuse therapy, housing, medical care, educational opportunities-everything needed to prepare for a successful recovery-at no additional cost. Cenikor's treatment services are estimated to cost $25,000 per year per client, but are offered to clients at no charge.

Core Values

Community as Method - Cenikor's residents live within the Therapeutic Community where they learn and practice the tools necessary to overcome substance abuse and the destructive behaviors that feed addiction.

Faith - Although Cenikor is not a faith-based program, helping a resident connect to his or her individual spirituality is one of the most important components of a wholesome, well-rounded recovery program.

Work - Work is a fundamental component of the recovery process and a condition of admission into the program.

Personal Responsibility - Personal responsibility is being honest and accountable to one's self, peers, and the Cenikor staff.
