ANNUAL LUNCHEON RAISES AWARENESS AND FUNDS TO COMBAT ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE IN FORT WORTH
(Houston, TX – September 1, 2016) The Cenikor Foundation (Cenikor) is hosting its annual Voices for Recovery Luncheon in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday, October 7, 2016. We are fortunate each year to host strong members the local community including local and state representatives, prominent business leaders, illustrious members of the recovery and behavioral health industry, and proud alumni of the Cenikor family. Each year we honor key members of the Fort Worth area that have made a tremendous impact on our great City. This year we are privileged to honor Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks as Elected Official of the Year; Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company as Philanthropist of the Year; KWS as Business Partner of the Year; and the Honorable Ernest White, Judge for the 194th Judicial District Court as Community Leader of the Year.
Cenikor has been a proud member of the Fort Worth community for many years. “With the generous support of the so many in the Fort Worth area, we have been able to impact the lives of over 430 clients this year alone. With the support of the wonderful people of this great City, we are able to help those in need providing them with a foundation to begin new lives through sobriety.” says Bill Bailey, Cenikor President and CEO.
In celebration of National Recovery Month, Cenikor hosts this annual luncheon to share insights on the path to recovery, celebrate the achievements of our clients’ success, while raising vital funds to help our clients become responsible citizens free of substance abuse. This year’s event will be held at the Colonial Country Club located at 3735 Country Club Circle, Fort Worth, TX 76109.
Recovery touches everyone in some shape or form. Cenikor recognize that what we do each day changes the life of someone truly in need, their families, and their communities at large. There are several sponsorship opportunities as well as individual tickets still available, with all proceeds going to benefit our clients and their recovery. Every donation has the power to change the life of someone when needed most. Eighty-one cents of every dollar donated to our cause goes toward program costs.
