Cenikor Welcomes Tio Kleberg of Iconic King Ranch as Luncheon’s Keynote Speaker

Cenikor’s Deep in the Heart Luncheon Supports Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Houston, TX, June 15, 2023Cenikor, one of the largest nonprofit behavioral health networks in the country, is thrilled to announce that Tio Kleberg from the iconic King Ranch, one of the largest and most renowned ranches in the world, will serve as the keynote speaker at its upcoming fundraising event. Cenikor’s Deep in the Heart luncheon will take place on September 13, 2023, at The Briar Club in Houston.

Tio Kleberg brings a unique perspective as he shares his personal upbringing on King Ranch and his courageous recovery journey. Growing up in the well-known King Ranch family, Tio Kleberg faced unique challenges and pressures. However, he rose above these obstacles and overcame addiction, transforming his life to ultimately serve as Vice-President of Agribusiness for King Ranch and later on King Ranch’s Board of Directors.

“We are honored to have Tio Kleberg as our keynote speaker,” said Bill Bailey, President and CEO of Cenikor. “Tio’s story of overcoming addiction resonates deeply with our mission of providing comprehensive treatment and support to all individuals regardless of their financial circumstances. We believe his words will inspire and empower our attendees, further fueling our collective efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by addiction.”

Tio Kleberg’s inspiring story of triumph and transformation will captivate our audience, shedding light on the importance of resilience, support, and the possibility of recovery. As the keynote speaker, Tio Kleberg will share his experiences on and off the King Ranch—a name that’s become synonymous with the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation—providing valuable insights into the challenges of addiction and the power of recovery. His journey serves as a beacon of hope for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder, demonstrating that with treatment and compassion, it is possible to reclaim one’s life and thrive.

The fundraising luncheon will not only provide a platform for Tio Kleberg’s inspiring message but also offer networking opportunities and a chance to support Cenikor’s ongoing initiatives. All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to expanding access to comprehensive treatment programs, enhancing recovery services, and breaking down the barriers to recovery.

“Your support at this fundraiser demonstrates not only your compassion but also your belief in the power of recovery and the transformative impact it can have on individuals and communities,” said Bentley Sanford, Chairman of TAM International and Cenikor Board Member. “Every dollar raised at this event will directly contribute to offering treatment programs and developing initiatives that specifically target the needs of individuals with limited resources.”

Cenikor extends its heartfelt gratitude to Tio Kleberg for sharing his story and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. Together, we can create a society where recovery is possible, and individuals can reclaim their lives from the grip of addiction.
