I know who runs that place.She can turn the worst into the best. If she had any clue that I was married with a step son who calls me dad and I run a battery store.Before I met these people. I was a homeless crackhead at best who put my mother in the hospital with a broken heart and a sister who still wont talk to any of usBut I can honestly say I know peace and happiness that I could not have gotten without someone telling me it's up to me to make my life. Absolutely no one cand do anything for you but you!Unless I accept myself for what I am....If you read this hawk. I love you and thank for giving me a life

I am in recovery myself, and know of 3 people who graduated the program, who have over 4 years clean and sober, and at least 5 with over 1 year clean and sober! Cenikor provides a foundation for lasting recovery, which is VITAL to success. Sometimes, when things get rocky, the strength of the foundation truly makes a difference. I’m grateful for Cenikor and what they do. As a local of Amarillo, I know how much this place has BEEN NEEDED!! Thank you for helping fight this monster of a disease!!!!

These are True Professionals Serving all of Texas for a reason. I was in this Life Saving Facility with members just like me from All over Texas that come to this Highly Thought of Rehabilitation Center.I have never in all my years of Big Careers Met a Stronger Group of Professionals that are Willing to be there for people that are Constantly Pushing them away due to their addictions.I Was Lost, Scared, Sick, Embarrassed & Desperate for Help. I Was Greeted With Care, Respect, Kindness & Understanding Meeting Facilitators that have been in my Shoes & Can Speak From True Experience Greater Than My Own.Comfortable Beds, Pillows, Great Toilet Paper, Clean Facilities, Laundry Services, Daily Schedules & Consistent Communication on a Dry Erase Board. It's all there if you take it up on yourself to look for it the communication is there.Team Building, Member Daily Moral With Snacks & Daily Morning Inspirational Full Staff Support. An Executive Staff Willing to Take Feedback to Better Serve the Client is Rare. This is a HARD Working Team that Actually is Working Constantly to Improve to Serve the Community.You Get What You Want Out of if, but Don't Suffer in Silence & It Takes More Courage to Walk up Those Stairs Than it Takes to Walk Out That Door.Love These People From This Hard Working Caring People ❤️

For a few Years, I was desperate to find help for my daughter who became an addict and abandoned her children, burned bridges with family and friends and everything else destructive that comes along with addiction. I would see a commercial that advertise how Easy getting help for a loved one was only to be frustrated and left with a feeling of hopelessness when you immediately get the truth you need Money ( not small amounts) or great insurance in order to get past the operator. Many sleepless nights and call after call was my down time due to having to raise children ( her children)all over again and juggling a full time job in order to provide her children with a stable happy home while trying to keep our dirty family secret of why my husband and I were raising our daughters children. I'm still praising God for the fact I called Cenikor. My daughter is on Medicaid however, I was thinking they made a mistake and misunderstood me when the operator said to bring my daughter to the facility or have her call for the intake process... this was the first time I was given Hope after so many shut doors and prepared myself for the "oops, but while you're here, our price is this and your payment options are this" once I found my daughter and she said she was ready for help and got her there. Our daughter is still there and about to graduate the first step in this long process of recovery and I will forever be grateful for Cenikor and the staff at the Amarillo facility. They not only treat our daughter, they extended above and beyond to help our entire family as this affected all of us and we don't know what our role needs to be in order for our daughter to succeed after discharge. I have opened my eyes to realize we are not alone in this battle to literally save my daughters life and now have true hope that her children will no longer have to explain why they are being raised by their grandparents. I see a future with her coming back to us all and raising her children as a sober mother with a mission to utilize her recovery skills and new strong support system to not only succeed but be an example of what Cenikor provided. Skills and knowledge that we didn't understand so couldn't help in the past and the rollercoaster ride is about to end. I urge any parent going through what we are to call Cenikor because for the first time in a few years, I can sleep without the fear of that dreaded phone call in the middle of the night with news no parent wants regardless of the age even though during her downward spiral, I mourned the loss of her multiple times. Cenikor saved our daughter. Cenikor gave 5 precious children their mother back and continues to provide the support system for the future I have been praying for.
