Cenikor Foundation Announces Expansion into San Antonio
Welcoming Alpha Home to Expand Services and Enhance Support for Substance Use Disorder Recovery
San Antonio, TX, April 28, 2025 — Cenikor today announced the integration of Alpha Home into its family of brands, marking a strategic expansion of its substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services in the San Antonio area. With a shared commitment to empowering recovery, this alliance will enhance the continuity and quality of care available, ensuring that individuals in the community receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs.
Starting in 1966, Alpha Home established itself as a pillar in the community with a personalized approach to guiding individuals through the challenges of substance use disorder. Now, as it joins forces with Cenikor Foundation, Alpha Home is set to further its commitment to delivering essential services, ensuring long-term sustainability and expanding access to care for those in need—offering Women’s Residential Treatment, Women Outpatient Services, and Ongoing Recovery Support.
We are thrilled to welcome Alpha Home into the Cenikor family,” said Bill Bailey, President and CEO of Cenikor Foundation. “Together, we are poised to make an even greater impact on the lives of women, individuals, and families affected by substance use disorder, offering comprehensive support and solutions to promote lasting recovery for more individuals.
The strategic partnership between Cenikor Foundation and Alpha Home brings together two organizations with a shared vision for enhancing the health and well-being of the San Antonio community. Serving since 1967, Cenikor Foundation exemplifies good stewardship and a steadfast commitment to service by supporting over 12,000 clients in adult and adolescent treatment programs and reaching more than 63,000 individuals through prevention efforts last year. This robust foundation provides Alpha Home with a wealth of resources and expertise to further enhance its service delivery. Together, this collaboration is set to drive innovation and expand support services, ensuring a lasting impact on the San Antonio community.
Cenikor Foundation remains deeply reliant on community support, with nearly 75% of our clients receiving treatment through grants, scholarships, and charity care. “We believe that together, we can achieve remarkable outcomes in the fight against substance use disorder,” said Bill Bailey, President and CEO. “Through collaborative initiatives and a commitment to clinical excellence, we will continue breaking down barriers to recovery and empower individuals to reclaim their lives and thrive well beyond recovery.” Going forward, Alpha Home will operate as part of the Cenikor Foundation. We look forward to partnering with community leaders to drive innovation, expand access to quality care, and foster a culture of support and resilience throughout the San Antonio community.
