FY23 Highlights:
12,402 Lives Saved
Cenikor’s impact reached far and wide, with 12,402 lives saved during FY23. Each of these individuals received the support and treatment necessary to overcome obstacles and pursue a healthier, more positive life.
Opioid Use Disorder Support
Within the lives saved, the nonprofit played a critical role in assisting 2,498 individuals with opioid addiction. Through its specialized programs including medication-assisted treatment, Cenikor has made a significant contribution to combating this pressing public health issue.
Veterans Served
The organization’s dedication to serving veterans is evident as it supported 428 veterans during FY23. This represents a 200% increase compared to the previous fiscal year, underscoring Cenikor’s effectiveness within the veteran community.
High Program Completion Rate
Cenikor achieved a 60.2% completion rate for its detox and short-term residential treatment programs. This highlights the appeal of Cenikor’s programs, as a substantial amount of individuals who were admitted successfully completed their journeys toward recovery. This can be compared to data from SAMHSA, which shows less than 42% of individuals who enter treatment complete it.
Client Satisfaction
Demonstrating the impact of Cenikor’s work, 93% of participants across all adult programs—from detox and short-term residential to outpatient and recovery housing—reported that they would recommend Cenikor’s services. A high level of client satisfaction underscores the quality and effectiveness of the programs provided.
Prevention Programs
The nonprofit’s outreach efforts extended to prevention programs that engaged 54,000 participants. By reaching a large number of individuals through education and prevention initiatives, Cenikor is actively working to make positive, healthy life choices, and reduce future challenges related to substance use disorder.

Cenikor’s total revenue in FY23 amounted to $39.9M, with net assets increasing by $1.6M to $37.2M. The nonprofit’s ability to effectively manage resources ensures that its life-saving programs continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those it serves.
