Texas Veterans Commission Provides Crucial Funding To Cenikor Veteran Patients

Houston, September 6th, 2022 – Cenikor, a leading provider of substance and alcohol treatment is pleased to announce that the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) is presenting our organization with a symbolic check today for $300,000 to support our veterans’ substance use disorder treatment programs. The funding will be divided between two of our facilities that serve our two largest concentrations of veterans in the communities that we serve. Approximately, $200,000 will be allocated to our Houston facility and $100,000 will be allocated to our Corpus Christi facility.

Both of our Cenikor facilities in Corpus Christi and Houston have dedicated teams that serve our veterans. Many veterans and active duty service members are facing physical and emotional challenges that put them at risk for substance use disorder.

The Houston and Corpus Christi facilities will use these funds to help mitigate the cost of care for our veterans. These funds will help our veterans recover and enter into a state of wellness. This funding helps veterans who might not receive recovery care if we did not have this program in place. The Texas Veterans Commission grant funding will be a great benefit to the veteran communities in Houston and Corpus Christi.

Cenikor is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers an array of successful rehabilitation programs, tailored to treat people who want to be free from substance use.
