State Representative Jacey Jetton Visits Odyssey House

HOUSTON, November 1 – State Representative Jacey Jetton stopped by to tour Cenikor’s Odyssey House in Houston on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021.

“The substance abuse issue is an ever-growing issue and we have now had several productive discussions with Representative Jetton on how to address the issue in Texas House District 26. I am looking forward to working with Representative Jetton to address it,” said Bill Bailey, President and CEO of Cenikor.

Representative Jetton is a 7th generation Texas who was first elected in 2020 from Texas House District 26. He is married to Fanny and has two young boys. He served in the Texas Army National Guard and volunteers numerous organizations that focus on supporting single moms, poverty, and veterans’ issues. During the 87th Legislature, Representative Jetton worked with the Texas House of Representatives to push for the recovery community.

“I want to thank Representative Jetton for everything he has done for the recovery community in the 87th Legislature,” added Bill.

Cenikor is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers an array of successful rehabilitation programs, tailored to treat people who want to be free from substance use. Since its inception in 1967, Cenikor has been dedicated to helping those in need. Cenikor continues to evolve to offer supportive services to veterans, adults, and adolescents in several cities across Texas, and neighboring states. More than 150,000 lives have been changed in the process.
