Start the ConversationCorpus Christi, TX, July 19, 2024— Cenikor, a leading nonprofit behavioral health treatment network serving over 14,000 people a year, is pleased to announce its upcoming Back-to-School Resource Fair, scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024. The event will take place at Cenikor Corpus Christi, located at 5501 McBride Lane, from 12pm to 3pm.
In a continuous effort to support the local community, Cenikor has organized the fair to collect school supplies and monetary donations. The collected items and funds will benefit the students at Roy Miller High School and West Oso Independent School District, preparing them for fall semester.
The Back-to-School Resource Fair will feature:
- Donation Drive: Collection of school supplies such as clear backpacks, spiral notebooks, pencils, crayons, erasers, and other essential items. All school supplies are appreciated.
- Monetary Donations: Opportunity to contribute financially to support local student’s educational needs.
- Community Engagement: Participation from location organizations, including The Purple Door, AEP Texas, Fleet Feet, Endeavors, Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, Physicians Premier ER, Family Counseling Services, Mission 911, Esparanza de Tejas, No Limit Run Club, The Training Room, Narvaez Jiu Jitsu, Weapons at Hand, Corpus Christi Police Department, Mental Health Team, South Side Rollers, El Vago Burgers and BBQ, South Side Runners, R&L Foundation, and the Nueces Center for Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities.
- Educational Resources: Information and materials aimed at supporting academic success.
