Jason McLemore

Jason McLemore is the Austin Facility Director.

Jason McLemore brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his role as Facility Director of Cenikor’s Austin location. He began his journey with the organization in February 2022 as a part‑time Behavioral Health Technician, where he discovered a deep passion for supporting individuals in recovery. Guided by a strong belief in Cenikor’s mission and a commitment to service, Jason advanced through a series of leadership roles including Client Outreach Manager, Senior Manager, and Director of Aftercare Programs. Through these formative leadership experiences, he developed a comprehensive understanding of treatment operations, staff development, and the complex challenges faced by clients working toward lasting recovery.

Jason’s commitment to recovery is deeply personal. After struggling with addiction for more than a decade, he understands firsthand the courage it takes to ask for help and the importance of compassionate, high‑quality care. This lived experience fuels his drive to excel in the behavioral health field and to create environments where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to heal. He strives to be a transformational leader, practicing empathy, modeling integrity and accountability, and embedding trauma‑informed principles into both clinical care and workplace culture.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in December 2001 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. He became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern in May 2025 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, with an expected completion in December 2026. Beyond his work at Cenikor, Jason has served as President of the Greater Tyler Recovery‑Oriented System of Care (ROSC) and as a member of the Board of Directors for NAMI Tyler. These roles strengthened his experience in community collaboration and advocacy, particularly in amplifying the needs of individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges. Jason remains committed to advancing recovery‑focused systems of care and helping others build lives defined by hope, purpose, and resilience.
