Recovery, Your Way: Local Healing at Cenikor Tyler

Conveniently located in the heart of Tyler, this location combines the heart of a small town with advanced, evidence-based clinical practices.

Our 37-bed detox and residential levels of care provide around the clock medical monitoring and support as clients begin the recovery process. Clients participate in individual and group counseling sessions, outside 12-step meetings, relapse prevention, and recovery coaching.

Our Tyler location also supports those on an outpatient basis through medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive and supportive outpatient, and aftercare (recovery coaching & alumni).

Many of our staff are in recovery themselves. We strive to create an environment where recovery is worked for so it means more to our clients.

Dr. Adelman is a highly qualified Internal Medicine specialist. With a distinguished medical career spanning since 1978 and has over 45 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Louvain University. Dr. Adelman brings exceptional expertise and compassionate care to every patient interaction. Adelman establishes a strong foundation in medical science and patient care.

Jake Strain

Jake Strain is a seasoned Doctor of Physical Therapy and entrepreneur with over a decade of proven experience leading healthcare operations and delivering patient-centered care. From an early age, Jake demonstrated the drive and vision to achieve ambitious goals. At 26, he purchased his first physical therapy clinic and, within four years, expanded it into three outpatient locations with contracts across hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes, and secured exclusive rehabilitation and pre-employment testing services for a Fortune 500 company. Under his leadership, the company doubled its gross revenue and earned recognition as one of the top entrepreneurs under 30 in the Tri-State area.
