The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. I recently came here for alcohol addiction. The staff was amazing! They helped me through detox safely and were understanding and never judgemental towards me. I only stayed for five days but I feel confident that they gave me the courage and confidence and resources to stick by my path to sobriety. I am so excited about the new life I am about to have! The male nurse in the evening would listen to me and ask questions about my plans to sobriety when leaving and truly listened, as well as my counselor and the intake team. Thank you guys so much for helping me in my darkest days! If you guys ever doubt if you make a difference, just know you have for me and I'm sure you do for others.
