Dallas-Fort Worth, June 14, 2024— Cenikor, a leading nonprofit behavioral health treatment network serving over 13,000 people a year, is excited to announce the expansion of its continuum of care in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to include comprehensive outpatient services starting June 18th, 2024. This new addition aims to provide flexible treatment options to better serve each person’s recovery journey, whether they are stepping down from Cenikor’s inpatient program or entering treatment on an outpatient basis.
The outpatient program will feature two levels of care:
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Clients will attend three days a week, with each session lasting three hours. This program is designed to provide a structured yet flexible treatment environment for individuals who need intensive support while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
- Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP): Clients will attend one session per week, each lasting one hour. This program is ideal for individuals who require ongoing support and counseling while reintegrating into their daily lives.
Both programs include individual counseling sessions, ensuring personalized care and attention for every client.

Cenikor has strong roots in the DFW area. In 1982, the nonprofit opened a therapeutic community for individuals with SUD, and later entered a strategic partnership with Turtle Creek Recovery Center in 2022, offering a short-term residential program for men in downtown Dallas. By the following year, Cenikor significantly expanded its access to treatment by moving to a new, upgraded facility, tripling its capacity to serve the community.
Continuing its commitment to comprehensive care, Cenikor is set to further expand its services with the introduction of detoxification services next month.
