Dallas, TX, January 23, 2024—Cenikor, a leading nonprofit behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment network, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new location in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 30, 2024, to celebrate this momentous occasion.
This expansion nearly triples Cenikor DFW’s capacity, expanding its services to more individuals in need, and providing high-quality, evidence-based, and affordable care to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay. Last year, Cenikor served 12,402 clients, and expects to increase these numbers with its new, 80-bed facility in Irving.

The ceremony will be graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including State Senator Tan Parker, State Representative Terry Meza, and Dallas County Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, who will join in celebrating this important milestone.

Cenikor is committed to providing comprehensive care to the DFW area. Its residential treatment program opened last November, and in the coming months, the nonprofit will further enhance its continuum of care by introducing outpatient services, withdrawal management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and recovery housing options, as well as recovery support and alumni services.
Cenikor has strong roots in the DFW area. In 1982, the nonprofit opened a therapeutic community for individuals with SUD, and later entered into a strategic partnership with Turtle Creek Recovery Center in 2019, offering a short-term residential program for men in downtown Dallas. In that time, over 5,600 lives have been saved.
