Houston, TX, June 4, 2024—Cenikor, a leading nonprofit behavioral health treatment network serving 13,000 people a year, proudly announces its annual fundraising luncheon with special keynote speaker Mayor John Whitmire. The event is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2024, at The Briar Club in Houston, TX.
The luncheon is a crucial opportunity to support and celebrate Cenikor’s life-saving mission. For 57 years, Cenikor has been at the forefront of behavioral health. The nonprofit believes everyone deserves a chance at recovery, and healthcare should be affordable. Cenikor serves all individuals, regardless of the ability to pay. Through evidence-based programs and integrated levels of care, Cenikor is able to help over 13,000 people—75% considered indigent—a year.
Funds raised from the event will directly support Cenikor’s mission of expanding access to high-quality treatment options and support services for individuals affected by SUD. Proceeds stay in the community, funding treatment for adults and teens at the nonprofit’s two Houston campuses.
