Cenikor Corpus Christi, a nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services, invites individuals, businesses, and philanthropic supporters to seize a unique opportunity during the Coastal Bend Day of Giving (CBDG). On November 14, from 12:00am to 11:59pm, you can donate to Cenikor and have your gift generously matched, effectively doubling the impact of your contribution.
CBDG is a 24-hour event dedicated to supporting local charities that work to assist those most at risk in the Corpus Christi area. Donations made through the CBDG website will be matched up to $22,500 for a total of $45,000 per nonprofit. Donations are also accepted during Early Giving, November 6-13, and will be processed on the day made.
To participate and have your donation to Cenikor matched, please follow these simple steps:
- Visit www.coastalbenddayofgiving.org from November 6-14. You must donate directly through this website to have your gift matched.
- Fill out the required information.
- Use the shopping cart feature to select Cenikor Foundation as your nonprofit of choice
- Donate using your credit or debit card, or utilize eChecks with a minimum donation of $10.
Cenikor Corpus Christi, formerly known as Charlie’s Place, is the only facility in South Texas to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to medically indigent individuals with dual diagnoses, and last year, Cenikor served over 2,600 individuals from the Coastal Bend area in their detoxification and residential treatment programs. Cenikor has been a steadfast ally for individuals facing challenges in behavioral health and substance use disorder for nearly 60 years. More than 300,000 lives have been changed in the process.
